FC Dallas had some issues returning home on a flight from El Salvador, where they played a club team in San Salvador. They returned with less than 24 hours to game time, beginning the game with little sleep and jet lag. In spite of their trip's logistical problems, they won 1-0 over Chivas USA.
Taking this year off school to work as a photography intern has taught me a lot. More than anything else I have realized that shooting pictures is the easy part. The hard part is the logistics. So when I lost my iPhone - well the iPhone belonging to the Dallas Morning News - before the game I nearly lost my head. I am a detail oriented type, and when one detail gets lost, my whole system begins to crash. Thankfully, in part to a helpful photo editor (shout out to Guy Reynolds) and this past year of internship experiences, I kept my head and still got the assignment done. As for the iPhone, I was lucky that a respectable family found the device outside the stadium and met with me to return it before the night's end.
